If you notice, the only way I can get her to look directly in the camera lens is to a) put her somewhere up high, so she doesn't have a choice or b) tell her there's a butterfly inside my camera and that it's going to tickle her piggies. She is funny, sweet, determined and totally lovable. I can't believe she will be two so very soon.

Mom's Tea
Lola's preschool class had a tea party for all of the mommies last week. A sweet little program and tea and cookies after. So fun to spend some time with my big girl and her class. The previous week I had helped with her Easter party. Love spending time in her classroom.
Lola's new bike
Lola loved the pogo stick, but after seeing what a nightmare it was going to be we decided to go to the store ON EASTER!! and get a bike instead. Lola was asleep in the car with Dustin while I ran in and got it. She was completely surprised. We couldn't figure out why she was having a hard time riding her old bike. We figured it was because she got it last year and didn't really start riding it until the end of July. The neighbor kids kept telling me she was too big for it. I just couldn't believe she had outgrown a bike that she only got to ride for three months!! The kids were right! She goes sooo fast on her new bike :)
Easter (out of order pictures) :) it's late!
On Easter, we made it to church by 715am for the Sunrise Service and breakfast. Crazy getting out of the house that early but definitely worth every second of whining before we left. After we got home from church we checked to see if the Easter bunny had eaten the carrots we left on the porch. He was a good bunny and ate every bite. The girls loved opening their Easter "beach bags". We were supposed to go to Dustin's mom's for the afternoon but everyone was sick! We felt so bad that they were in bed while we enjoyed the gorgeous day. Thankfully, it seems as though everyone is finally feeling better again! Later in the afternonn/evening we went to bankie and pawpaws for the egg hunt and dinner. Grandma and Grandpa Howe spent their Easter with us also! So fun for the girls to have two sets of grandparents under one roof.
